Cassandre Lepicard
Graduated from the Haute École des Arts du Rhin (HEAR) in 2022, Cassandre Lepicard is based in Paris. Through drawing, sculpture, photography, and writing, she explores the vulnerability of the human body in relation to its environment. By desexualizing the female body, she highlights its functional and biological aspects, while drawing inspiration from nature’s invisible microcosms. Her works reveal the complexity of organic worlds, where surfaces become narrative interfaces between interior and exterior, chaos and order.
«I am inspired by invisible worlds: insects, plants, microscopic organisms. The surface becomes a language, bearing witness to the secret interactions between two realities, both a protective membrane and a narrative interface.»
